Access control doors, gates and barrier arms, SIP intercoms, video walls and alert signaling across FMPA's Florida plants and corporate office, under one service agreement.
A public power utility with plants across Florida and a corporate office in Orlando, each with doors, vehicle gates and control rooms to secure in a corrosive, high-surge industrial environment — and a requirement to keep proprietary and non-NDAA-compliant equipment out of its security systems.
Insyte installed and supports access control doors, gate motors, gate safeties, gate leaves and barrier arms, SIP intercom systems, video surveillance with live-feed monitors, and an alert system for warning lights and sounds, on fiber optic and low-voltage cabling with workstation support and power protection. At the Cane Island Power Park that included a 48-door access control replacement cut over section by section so the plant was never unsecured; at the Orlando office it has included door relocations and bringing two vehicle gates onto the same platform as the doors. We specify non-corrosive aluminum and stainless hardware, hardened switches and power supplies, substantial surge protection, and monitored control rooms. Encoders display cameras statically and reliably at remote sites, and we build video walls for plant control teams. All of it sits under a comprehensive service level agreement.
FMPA has a partner that comes on site, consults, understands the application, generates proposals, keeps backup documentation and keeps non-compliant equipment out. A plant's control room can now be monitored from a remote location. Alert signaling is tied into plant safety — the system watches meters, LEDs and sound. Software and maintenance recur on a schedule, coordinated with plant downtime, covering the gate systems at every Florida plant and the corporate office.
Every project starts with a free on-site assessment and a proposal that shows every line. Names and details appear here only with the client's permission.
