Campus-wide access control on perimeter and interior doors, with video intercoms so staff see and speak to every visitor before the door opens.
A combined church and K-8 campus that needed to control its perimeter and its sensitive interior spaces during the school day, without staff walking to the door for every visitor.
We installed campus-wide access control across the perimeter and interior doors on a central database, with electrified crash bars and handles on the exits. Several video intercoms with release buttons were placed throughout the campus, with monitors so administrators and receptionists can see and speak with a visitor before granting entry. Visitors are logged, and first-responder access is built in.
The school controls who enters its perimeter and its sensitive internal areas. Staff identify a visitor on the video intercom, talk to them, and decide whether to open the door — a controlled environment for the safety of the students. Schedules, users and credentials are managed centrally, and access logs can be matched to video for record keeping and verification.
